Positively, the table has a multitude of potential uses. Either as a hall table topped with floral displays. A desk space for that compact home office due to its more than adequate leg clearance. Relatively untouched. The original timbers appear to be present, other than some modern timber added to the underside runners of the drawer. This would be due to wear throughout centuries of opening and closing the drawers
Four drawers sit upon one another, believed to be the original oak drawer bottoms still present. Almost oversized bracket feet give the drawers a sense of authority whilst sitting within a room
A survivor…

White and creams form the base layer with a darker shade of green creating the decorative line work around each piece
Though a matching pair, evidence of their hand made nature can be seen. Due to hand carving, slight variations in the sweeps and curves add an honest and authentic appeal. Depths of wood alter due to the nature of using what timbers were available, before mass production
Beginning at the top, a sweeping galleried back sits above a pleasant surprise of a set of two curved drawers. Continuing the curvaceous nature, the body sits on cabriole legs and to add balance, a lower shelf adds an extra storage option
