The cupboard was used in a school on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Layers of paint and a mahogany scumble finish were dry scraped back to it’s original powder green paint
Through the areas of wear, you can see the heavy areas of touch. A true survivor in a throw away society!

Originally this sideboard would have been painted either a blue or green before being overpainted numerous times. It has now been dry scraped to it’s original paints which have left a rustic finish
The plinth is a later addition. Most commonly, the original would have suffered from rot due to the floor regularly being mopped
