Multiple layers of paint have been dry scraped back to the drawers original whites and creams. With it’s tram line details and strap work, no expense was spared when making the piece, also shown by the thickness of pine used. It was built to last and has clearly stood the test of time.
The worn pine plank top gives us a glimpse into how many hands have passed over it

The drawers have had layers of newer paint washed back to reveal its original base coat which consists of whites and subtle creams
