European, likely Hungarian and dating from the turn of the 20th century c.1900-1905
Aesthetically, a faux maple paint was removed, leaving the wardrobes original cream finish. All of the original brass hardware is still present. Internally, split in two, one half hooks and the other shelved compartments
The soft pastel colour is a rare feature. A picturesque statement in a room. The scale is good. Useful but not too large. Well suited for small cottages, Victorian or Georgian properties aswell as a contemporary environment

One drawer sits above a shelved cupboard. Panelled inserts on a pine frame. Historic woodworm has been routinely treated as a precaution. Some slight movement in the frame when twisting, however this is eradicated once some weight is added
