Substantial but not overbearing in size. A two door glazed upper section housing a pair of shelves flank a fixed glass middle. Beneath , three drawers and a full width helped cupboard, accessible via a pair of doors
Like most pine furniture, it would have been varnished, stripped 40 – 50 years ago and since then, it has sat in a sunlit room, developing a natural, fairly even bleached finish

Late 19th century
A nod to the country house style in its aesthetics. A pair of decorative columns flank a an open shelved unit, all sitting on a large cupboard. This comprises of two small and useful drawers, below is a capacious cupboard, enclosed by a pair of double doors.
Original lock and period key. The lower backboard has been replaced, most likely due to rot sitting against a damp wall

The dresser being French, it has been the target of historic woodworm, creating a rustic, tactile surface
