An early 20th century pine blanket box
French in origin and dating between 1900-1920
Unique in its large size, creating an impact in the space in which it sits. An abundance of historic woodworm which had many a party in the past. This is one of the charms of French furniture. It had a use, served a purpose and shows age and character which cannot be replicated with modern pieces
All original hardware is present. Feet have been added most likely to keep it off the floor to prevent rot
Oversized, almost unnecessary in scale but something you need in life
